I sometimes get the impression from others that after reading someone's profile here, you're supposed to magically know everything about who they are as an individual. Can't happen! By the same token should you decide to judge someone because of what's here without actual intimate knowledge then that's also your bad. Communicate. It's still free. I'm a mentored, Leather influenced, self realized Poly Sadist and I don't see that changing anytime soon. That's the short version. As a Marine Corps vet, discipline, principles and protocol are important to me. I believe in conservative leather ways which means that I have principles that I try and live by which largely amount to be good to your fellow human, It's really not that complicated. Some have asked me to overlook or modify some of my principles, boundaries or limits to suit their needs. I've asked that they spend their energies in more useful pursuits that don't include me. I respect boundaries and expect that in return. I'm and old school kinda guy. I believe in mentorship and the sharing of knowledge and perspective. If you have something useful to share then share it. That's largely how I got here. Those that know me know that I don't need to be in the spotlight but if I have a point to make I will make it. I have presented on topics and attended events that I feel reflect my own views and opinions. That doesn't mean I can't or won't explore new or different perspectives. For me it's about the journey not the destination. I can be quiet but radical, polite but direct. I consider myself approachable so if there is something on your mind, say it and let's see where that takes us. I can fit into most situations but if I feel that I don't need to be there anymore then I simply remove myself. A behavior that has served me well. In the dungeon It can be a mixed bag depending on the bottom but I can be a hard player. I'm a spanking, torture, flogging make em scream kinda guy. Poor home training I suppose.
